Google Maps 4.0 for BlackBerry already exists! This new version adds Search by Voice, Google Buzz, starring, Labs, and many more. To install it, just go to m.google.com / maps from the BlackBerry Internet browser.
Search by Voice really feels practical. Simply press-hold the “call” green, say what it sought, and the direct search results are presented on the screen. But for now only supports English and Mandarin.
Google Buzz on Google Maps 4.0 allows us to send comments to sharing photos. Maps from the main menu, go to Layers> Buzz to activate; open the menu and select “Post Buzz” for the post of the location or place.
Significant update in this version is the archive search (search suggestion) and starring.
If we ever find a single keyword, we just type in some keywords in Maps. At the top will appear the reference. But make sure you’re signed in your Google account (Menu> Sign In) and have Web History enabled.
Sign conditions also starred items synchronization between the computer maps.google.com (My Maps> starred items) and hp (Menu> starred items).
Besides the already mentioned earlier, there are more that many stores Labs experimental features such as scale bar or Terrain for pedestrians.
